About HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 1

Combining over 100 years of R&D, HiPP Dutch Goat is HiPP’s long awaited entry into the goat milk market! This Stage 1 formula is perfect for infants up to the age of six months, and is packed with nutrients that most other goat milk formulas do not offer.

HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 1 is based on 100% organic ingredients, including organic goat milk with the A2 beta-casein milk protein. Goat milk is a great substitute for parents who have a baby that struggles with traditional cows milk formulas, and the A2 milk protein means that the milk has a slightly lower saturated fat content than other milks without the A2 milk protein (such as standard cow’s milk). A goat milk formula means that your baby can still enjoy all the benefits of a lactose carbohydrate diet, without the need for artificial additives that would otherwise enrich your baby’s carbohydrate intake.

This clean formula can be taken as a complete meal substitute, or used as a supplement alongside a breast milk diet. HiPP Dutch Goat is also available in HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 2, as well as HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 3 for toddlers. If you have previously considered HiPP Dutch cow’s formula but your baby does not tolerate traditional formulas well, HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 1 is a worthwhile addition to your pantry.

As with all other HiPP baby formula, HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 1 contains essential DHA Omega-3 which is thought to help with brain and eye development during early infancy. This formula is loaded with naturally occurring prebiotics and galacto-oligosaccharides which help your baby develop healthy gut bacteria and a stronger immune system. This formula significantly exceeds all European organic certifications, is manufactured in Germany and packaged in the Netherlands.

You won’t find any nasties in HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 1, including no sugar, no corn syrup, no soy, no gluten, no starch, no maltodextrin, and no synthetic ingredients or artificial sweeteners. Unlike HiPP Dutch cow’s formula which comes in 800g tins, HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 1 comes in 1/2 size 400g tins which allow for greater flexibility, while still having long expiration dates.

Hipp Formula Copmany works directly with HiPP in Germany and the Netherlands to deliver fresh baby formula that has a long expiration date of six months or more. Each shelf-stable can of HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 1 contains 400 grams (14 oz) of formula powder, which yields approximately 100 fluid ounces of prepared formula.

How much HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 1 should you buy? The estimate for how many units of formula you’ll need is based on an assumption that baby formula is the primary source of nutrition within your baby’s diet, and takes into account HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 1 packaging and scoop sizes, as well as the HiPP’s recommended dosage at each age. Unless stated “per month”, the calculation is a total for the entire age bracket. On average, a typical infant uses 6 cans of HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 1 per month, when fed using HiPP’s feeding instructions. If you supplement with breast milk or other foods, your calculation may be different. Always follow your pediatricians advice for feeding instructions that are unique to your baby.

HiPP Stage 1 Dutch Goat Formula Mixing Instructions

  Sterilize

  Begin by washing your hands and sterilizing your equipment and workspace. In order to kill off any residual bacteria that may be in your water, boil 1 liter of water and leave it to cool for up to 30 minutes.

  Check Feeding Chart

  Read the feeding chart relevant to your specific formula. Depending on your baby’s age, add the corresponding water and formula ratios. Use the formula scoop provided inside of your box so as to ensure accurate measurements.

  Prepare

  Close the bottle with a sterilized cap and shake vigorously until all formula powder has been dissolved and no lumps remain. We recommend placing a nipple cap over the bottle top so as to avoid touching it with your hands.

  Check Temperature

  Baby formula is ready for feeding when it reaches body temperature (~98°F). You may cool the formula in the refrigerator in order to reach this desired temperature, and you can test the formula on your forearm to make sure it isn’t too hot. Use the formula immediately after preparation.
