About HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 3

Featuring organic goat milk from HiPP, HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 3 is a nutritionally complete goat milk based toddler formula for babies aged 12 months and older. You can use HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 3 alongside breast feeding, while weaning your baby off of breast milk, or as a complete meal substitute to breast milk. This formula is the perfect follow on from HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 2 and HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 1.

Unlike cow’s milk formulas, a goat formula is typically easier to digest because it has lower levels of lactose than comparable cow’s formulas. Crucially, this formula is still lactose based meaning that lactose remains the primary carbohydrate in this formula and doesn’t have any sugar or corn syrup for its carbohydrate composition.

To promote healthy bone development, HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 3 is fortified with additional calcium. This clean formula also contains prebiotics and lactose-based galacto-oligossacharides that help boost your toddler’s gut microbiome and supports an stronger immune system. To help with eye and brain development, HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 3 contains naturally occurring ALA and DHA Omega 3, unlike many other comparable goat milk formulas.

If your baby is particularly sensitive to cow’s milk formulas, this goat milk formula should definitely be given some consideration, especially since it is based off of A2 goats milk which is easier to digest than cow’s milk. This formula is also the perfect preparation for a transition to solid foods.

How much HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 3 should you buy? The estimate for how many units of formula you’ll need is based on an assumption that baby formula is the primary source of nutrition within your baby’s diet, and takes into account HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 3 packaging and scoop sizes, as well as the HiPP’s recommended dosage at each age. Unless stated “per month”, the calculation is a total for the entire age bracket. On average, a typical toddler uses 3.5 cans of HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 3 per month, when fed using HiPP’s feeding instructions. If you supplement with breast milk or other foods, your calculation may be different. Always follow your pediatricians advice for feeding instructions that are unique to your baby.

HiPP Stage 2 Dutch Goat Formula Mixing Instructions

  Sterilize

  Begin by washing your hands and sterilizing your equipment and workspace. In order to kill off any residual bacteria that may be in your water, boil 1 liter of water and leave it to cool for up to 30 minutes.

  Check Feeding Chart

  Read the feeding chart relevant to your specific formula. Depending on your baby’s age, add the corresponding water and formula ratios. Use the formula scoop provided inside of your box so as to ensure accurate measurements.

  Prepare

  Close the bottle with a sterilized cap and shake vigorously until all formula powder has been dissolved and no lumps remain. We recommend placing a nipple cap over the bottle top so as to avoid touching it with your hands.

  Check Temperature

  Baby formula is ready for feeding when it reaches body temperature (~98°F). You may cool the formula in the refrigerator in order to reach this desired temperature, and you can test the formula on your forearm to make sure it isn’t too hot. Use the formula immediately after preparation.
