About Kendamil Classic Stage 2
This British made baby formula is Kendamil’s most popular cow’s milk based follow on formula for babies aged six to twelve months of age. You can use Kendamil Classic Stage 2 as a complete meal substitute, as a supplement to your breastfeeding routine, or while weaning your baby off of breast milk. This lactose based formula is the natural transition from Kendamil Classic Stage 1 and can be followed by Kendamil Classic Stage 3.
Kendamil sources all of its full cream cows milk from locally owned and locally managed farms in the UK Lake District. With 58 years of family heritage, Kendamil is proud to be the only British made baby formula – most notably used by the royal family for their babies. This full cream milk formula is a natural source of milk fat globule membrane (MFGM).
Kendamil is proud to manage its end-to-end supply chain to ensure that only the highest quality ingredients go into their formulas. Kendamil Classic Stage 2 does not contain any soy, no palm oil, no sugar, no wheat, no starch, no maltodextrin, no corn syrup, no synthetic preservatives, no artificial additives, and no GMO’s. Instead, Kendamil Classic Stage 2 is a great source of Omega-3 and Omega-6 that supports baby eye and brain development. With this formula your baby will get a healthy supply of plant based ARA, ALA, and LA – as well as all the essential vitamins and minerals required by strict European baby formula laws. Additionally, this formula contains natural prebiotics (GOS) to help build your baby’s immunity and develop its natural gut bacteria in preparation for solid foods.
This formula uses vegetarian friendly plant based DHA, naturally source from marine algae in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way (meaning no fish oils are used for DHA extraction). In comparison to Kendamil Classic Stage 1, Kendamil Classic Stage 2 has a higher whey:casein ratio of 60:40, mimicking the progression that natural breast milk takes on as a baby matures. This shift in whey/casein ratios makes the formula more filling for babies as their stomachs mature and their appetites grow.

How much Kendamil Classic Stage 2 should you buy? The estimate for how many units of formula you’ll need is based on an assumption that baby formula is the primary source of nutrition within your baby’s diet, and takes into account Kendamil Classic Stage 2 packaging and scoop sizes, as well as the Kendamil’s recommended dosage at each age. Unless stated “per month”, the calculation is a total for the entire age bracket. On average, a typical baby uses 2.5 cans of Kendamil Classic Stage 2 per month, when fed using Kendamil’s feeding instructions. Important Feeding Information
- Each baby formula uses different mixing proportions. Only use the scoop that is included in your formula.
- Only add water and scoops at the ratios intended by the manufacturer. Do not supplement the milk feeds with any additional ingredients.
- Do not prepare feeds in advance. In order to maintain maximum nutritional value, use the feeds immediately and dispose of any leftovers feed.
- Once prepared, feed should be used within 2 hours if stored at room temperature. Bottles cooled with a cold ice pack should be used within 4 hours. Refrigerated bottles may be used for up to 24 hours.
- Microwaves heat unevenly! Do not microwave prepared feeds as heat spots may occur.
- Once opened, formula should be used within 21 days. Any unopened formula should not be used after the expiration date printed by the manufacturer on the box.
