Using only EU certified organic cow’s whole-milk as the base, this wholesome and nutritionally complete baby formula is appropriate from birth up to six months.

Kendamil works directly with British dairy farmers to ensure the highest level of oversight goes into the healthy ingredients that are packed into their passionately crafted organic formulas. Kendamil Stage 1 exclusively uses full cream cow’s milk to create a lactose-based infant formula that is as close to natural human breast milk as a formula can be made. At a painstaking level of detail, Kendamil takes care to provide a more natural fat source of Milk Fat Globule Membrane (MFGM), the same as in breast milk, which is thought to improve early infant cognitive development.

Also available in Kendamil Stage 2 and Kendamil Stage 3, Kendamil Stage 1 has a whey to casein ratio of 60/40. This formula contains all of the essential vitamins and minerals that are necessary to achieve the highest ratings of EU organic certification for infant formula. Kendamil Stage 1 is an incredibly clean formula with natural ingredients, including plant-based DHA (Omega-3 and 6 LCPs) which is suitable for parents who are adhering to a vegetarian diet (Kendamil uses marine algae instead of fish oil for its DHA source). You will also not find any soy, no peanut extracts, no corn syrup, no sugar, no maltodextrin, no GMO’s, and no palm oil. Instead, you’ll find healthy prebiotics and probiotics which help improve natural baby gut development. Kendamil is also the first European organic infant formula to contain Human Milk Oligosaccharides (HMOs), which are the original source of prebiotics within the formula.

How much Kendamil Stage 1 should you buy? The estimate for how many units of formula you’ll need is based on an assumption that baby formula is the primary source of nutrition within your baby’s diet, and takes into account Kendamil Stage 1 packaging and scoop sizes, as well as the Kendamil’s recommended dosage at each age. Unless stated “per month”, the calculation is a total for the entire age bracket. On average, a typical infant uses 5 cans of Kendamil Stage 1 per month, when fed using Kendamil’s feeding instructions. If you supplement with breast milk or other foods, your calculation may be different. Always follow your pediatricians advice for feeding instructions that are unique to your baby.

Kendamil Stage 1 Formula Mixing Instructions

  Sterilize

  Begin by washing your hands and sterilizing your equipment and workspace. In order to kill off any residual bacteria that may be in your water, boil 1 liter of water and leave it to cool for up to 30 minutes.

  Check Feeding Chart

  Read the feeding chart relevant to your specific formula. Depending on your baby’s age, add the corresponding water and formula ratios. Use the formula scoop provided inside of your box so as to ensure accurate measurements.

  Prepare

  Close the bottle with a sterilized cap and shake vigorously until all formula powder has been dissolved and no lumps remain. We recommend placing a nipple cap over the bottle top so as to avoid touching it with your hands.

  Check Temperature

  Baby formula is ready for feeding when it reaches body temperature (~98°F). You may cool the formula in the refrigerator in order to reach this desired temperature, and you can test the formula on your forearm to make sure it isn’t too hot. Use the formula immediately after preparation.
