About Kendamil Stage 3

With a greater density of vitamins and nutrients than Kendamil Stage 2 and Kendamil Stage 1, this natural organic formula is the perfect transition for toddlers aged 12 months and beyond. Sourced from organic cows in the British countryside, Kendamil Stage 3 is a nutritionally complete organic formula that can be used as a complete substitute to breastfeeding, or likewise can help while your baby is weaning from breast milk.

This formula contains naturally occurring DHA from plant based marine algae rather than fish oil, meaning that it is also suitable for vegetarian households. DHA and ARA (Omega-3 and 6 LCPs) are thought to support muscle, eye, brain, and soft tissue development in toddlers. Kendamil Stage 3 is rich in natural minerals, and contains prebiotics (GOS), probiotics, and all of the essential vitamins required by the highest levels of EU organic certification. This formula also contains naturally occurring MFGM as well as Human Milk Oligosaccharides (HMOs) from the organic cows milk lactose, similar to natural breast milk.

You can rest easy knowing that this formula does not contain any maltodextrin, no starch, no peanuts, no corn syrup, no sugar, no synthetic ingredients, no GMO’s, and no soy. As a healthy alternative to palm oil, Kendamil Stage 3 uses coconut oil (no palm oil).

How much Kendamil Stage 3 should you buy? The estimate for how many units of formula you’ll need is based on an assumption that baby formula is the primary source of nutrition within your baby’s diet, and takes into account Kendamil Stage 3 packaging and scoop sizes, as well as the Kendamil’s recommended dosage at each age. Unless stated “per month”, the calculation is a total for the entire age bracket. On average, a typical toddler uses 2 cans of Kendamil Stage 3 per month, when fed using Kendamil’s feeding instructions. Kendamil Stage 3 Formula Mixing Instructions

  Sterilize

  Begin by washing your hands and sterilizing your equipment and workspace. In order to kill off any residual bacteria that may be in your water, boil 1 liter of water and leave it to cool for up to 30 minutes.

  Check Feeding Chart

  Read the feeding chart relevant to your specific formula. Depending on your baby’s age, add the corresponding water and formula ratios. Use the formula scoop provided inside of your box so as to ensure accurate measurements.

  Prepare

  Close the bottle with a sterilized cap and shake vigorously until all formula powder has been dissolved and no lumps remain. We recommend placing a nipple cap over the bottle top so as to avoid touching it with your hands.

  Check Temperature

  Baby formula is ready for feeding when it reaches body temperature (~98°F). You may cool the formula in the refrigerator in order to reach this desired temperature, and you can test the formula on your forearm to make sure it isn’t too hot. Use the formula immediately after preparation.
