This no-additive formula is clean, simple, nutritionally balanced, and promotes healthy growth. Lebenswert Stage 3 is suitable for babies aged 10 months and above, and can be used as a complete alternative to breast milk or alternatively as a breast milk supplement and meal enhancer supplement to cow’s milk for babies and toddlers. Lebenswert Stage 3 can also help transition a baby off of breast milk during the weaning process, or for babies who previously eaten Lebenswert Stage 1 and Lebenswert Stage 2.

Lebenswert Stage 3 is based on organic skim milk and contains organic maltodextrin that acts as a flavor and consistency balancing agent. Maltodextrin is a complex carbohydrate that is very easy to digest and releases energy slower than other simple carbohydrates. Maltodextrin also balances out the natural sweetness of cow’s milk. Lebenswert Stage 3 ensures that your baby receives all the vitamins and minerals required for early stage growth and development, all the while avoiding unpleasant synthetic ingredients. This formula is very natural and contains no color additives and no man made flavor enhancers, including no prebiotics and no probiotics.

This Lebenswert formula is made with only organic ingredients that have achieved Bioland organic certification, Germany’s biggest food association. This Bioland certification means that Lebenswert formulas are based on organic cow’s skim milk from biodynamic pastures that are exceptionally animal friendly and graze in fields that are free of pesticides, fertilizers, hormones, and antibiotics. Lebenswert Stage 3 Formula Mixing Instructions

  Sterilize

  Begin by washing your hands and sterilizing your equipment and workspace. In order to kill off any residual bacteria that may be in your water, boil 1 liter of water and leave it to cool for up to 30 minutes.

  Check Feeding Chart

  Read the feeding chart relevant to your specific formula. Depending on your baby’s age, add the corresponding water and formula ratios. Use the formula scoop provided inside of your box so as to ensure accurate measurements.

  Prepare

  Close the bottle with a sterilized cap and shake vigorously until all formula powder has been dissolved and no lumps remain. We recommend placing a nipple cap over the bottle top so as to avoid touching it with your hands.

  Check Temperature

  Baby formula is ready for feeding when it reaches body temperature (~98°F). You may cool the formula in the refrigerator in order to reach this desired temperature, and you can test the formula on your forearm to make sure it isn’t too hot. Use the formula immediately after preparation.
