Experiencing acid reflux, spit-up, or regurgitation on an ongoing basis with your baby? HiPP AR Germany Anti Reflux Milk Formula has been specially formulated to replace some of the more challenging-to-digest ingredients, with ingredients that are equally organic but proven to be more soothing and significantly easier to digest for young babies. This formula can be given from birth, and because of its gentle nature is even suitable up through toddlerhood when your baby begins eating solid foods. It can be used as a complete supplement to breast feeding, or as an additive that enriches your baby’s diet and nutrition.

This nutritionally complete formula is easier for your baby to keep down because of organic locust bean gum, which acts as a natural thickener that helps reduce the likelihood and frequency of spit-up. HiPP AR contains organic whey protein, organic vegetable oils, lactose from organic skimmed milk, and organic starch. Vitamin D helps with calcium absorption for stronger bones, and Vitamins A and C help with your baby’s immune system.

HiPP AR contains both prebiotics and probiotics to help your infant develop a healthy gut microbiome. Similar to bacteria cultures found in breast milk, these prebiotics and probiotics work to strengthen your baby’s digestive system. For added help with brain and eye development, HiPP AR contains omega-3 and omega-6 DHA and ARA. This formula uses absolutely no GMO’s, no sugar, no corn syrup, no gluten, no soy, and no peanut ingredients. HiPP AR is also free of any unnatural synthetic preservatives or man made flavorings which can create discomfort for your baby.

Hipp Formula Copmany works directly with HiPP in Germany to deliver fresh baby formula that has a long expiration date of six months or more. Each shelf-stable can of HiPP AR contains 600 grams (21.2 oz) of formula powder, which yields approximately 130 fluid ounces of prepared formula.

How much HiPP AR Anti-Reflux should you buy? The estimate for how many units of formula you’ll need is based on an assumption that baby formula is the primary source of nutrition within your baby’s diet, and takes into account HiPP AR Anti-Reflux packaging and scoop sizes, as well as the HiPP’s recommended dosage at each age. Unless stated “per month”, the calculation is a total for the entire age bracket. On average, a typical baby uses 5 boxes of HiPP AR Anti-Reflux per month, when fed using HiPP’s feeding instructions. If you supplement with breast milk or other foods, your calculation may be different. Always follow your pediatricians advice for feeding instructions that are unique to your baby.

• Check Temperature

  Baby formula is ready for feeding when it reaches body temperature (~98°F). You may cool the formula in the refrigerator in order to reach this desired temperature, and you can test the formula on your forearm to make sure it isn’t too hot. Use the formula immediately after preparation.

Important Feeding Information

• Each baby formula uses different mixing proportions. Only use the scoop that is included in your formula.
• Only add water and scoops at the ratios intended by the manufacturer. Do not supplement the milk feeds with any additional ingredients.
• Do not prepare feeds in advance. In order to maintain maximum nutritional value, use the feeds immediately and dispose of any leftovers feed.
• Once prepared, feed should be used within 2 hours if stored at room temperature. Bottles cooled with a cold ice pack should be used within 4 hours. Refrigerated bottles may be used for up to 24 hours.
• Microwaves heat unevenly! Do not microwave prepared feeds as heat spots may occur.
• Once opened, formula should be used within 21 days. Any unopened formula should not be used after the expiration date printed by the manufacturer on the box.
