About HiPP German Starch Free Stage 2

HiPP German Stage 2 No Starch Combiotic is a starch-free organic formula for babies aged six months and older. This gentle formula is developed to be equally nutritious and great tasting, with baby’s loving the flavor even without the starch.

You can use HiPP German Stage 2 No Starch as a substitute to breast milk, or in conjunction with breast feeding as a milk supplement. Additionally, this organic formula is completely gluten free and does not contain any soy, wheat, sugar, corn syrup, or peanut ingredients. This formula is based on organic cow’s milk and is rich in lactose as the primary carbohydrate.

HiPP German Stage 2 has the added benefit of robust prebiotics and probiotics that help build up your baby’s natural gut biome, similar to how breast milk’s natural bacteria would do the same. Omega-3 and omega-6 DHA and ARA are added to help with brain and eye development.

How much HiPP German Starch Free Stage 2 should you buy? The estimate for how many units of formula you’ll need is based on an assumption that baby formula is the primary source of nutrition within your baby’s diet, and takes into account HiPP German Starch Free Stage 2 packaging and scoop sizes, as well as the HiPP’s recommended dosage at each age. Unless stated “per month”, the calculation is a total for the entire age bracket. HiPP Stage 2 German Starch-Free Formula Mixing Instructions

  Sterilize

  Begin by washing your hands and sterilizing your equipment and workspace. In order to kill off any residual bacteria that may be in your water, boil 1 liter of water and leave it to cool for up to 30 minutes.

  Check Feeding Chart

  Read the feeding chart relevant to your specific formula. Depending on your baby’s age, add the corresponding water and formula ratios. Use the formula scoop provided inside of your box so as to ensure accurate measurements.

  Prepare

  Close the bottle with a sterilized cap and shake vigorously until all formula powder has been dissolved and no lumps remain. We recommend placing a nipple cap over the bottle top so as to avoid touching it with your hands.

  Check Temperature

  Baby formula is ready for feeding when it reaches body temperature (~98°F). You may cool the formula in the refrigerator in order to reach this desired temperature, and you can test the formula on your forearm to make sure it isn’t too hot. Use the formula immediately after preparation.
