HiPP German Stage PRE Combiotic is a nutritionally-rich and tasty organic formula that is suitable for babies from birth through six months. This clean formula comes packed with essential vitamins A, B, C, D – and in addition to its long list of essential nutrients, is also an iron enriched formula. Probiotics and prebiotics have been added for improved digestion, closely mirroring the natural bacteria found in breast milk. Additionally, you will find natural omega-3 and omega-6 DHA and ARA in this organic formula, supporting healthy eye and brain development during the most critical months of your baby’s life.

HiPP German Stage PRE can be used on its own as a complete breast milk substitute, or as a supplement to breast milk. This formula is also available in HiPP German Stage 1, HiPP German Stage 2, and HiPP German Stage 3.

How much HiPP German Stage PRE should you buy? The estimate for how many units of formula you’ll need is based on an assumption that baby formula is the primary source of nutrition within your baby’s diet, and takes into account HiPP German Stage PRE packaging and scoop sizes, as well as the HiPP’s recommended dosage at each age. Unless stated “per month”, the calculation is a total for the entire age bracket. On average, a typical infant uses 6 boxes of HiPP German Stage PRE per month, when fed using HiPP’s feeding instructions. If you supplement with breast milk or other foods, your calculation may be different. Always follow your pediatricians advice for feeding instructions that are unique to your baby.

HiPP Stage PRE German Formula Mixing Instructions

  Sterilize

  Begin by washing your hands and sterilizing your equipment and workspace. In order to kill off any residual bacteria that may be in your water, boil 1 liter of water and leave it to cool for up to 30 minutes.

  Check Feeding Chart

  Read the feeding chart relevant to your specific formula. Depending on your baby’s age, add the corresponding water and formula ratios. Use the formula scoop provided inside of your box so as to ensure accurate measurements.

  Prepare

  Close the bottle with a sterilized cap and shake vigorously until all formula powder has been dissolved and no lumps remain. We recommend placing a nipple cap over the bottle top so as to avoid touching it with your hands.

  Check Temperature

  Baby formula is ready for feeding when it reaches body temperature (~98°F). You may cool the formula in the refrigerator in order to reach this desired temperature, and you can test the formula on your forearm to make sure it isn’t too hot. Use the formula immediately after preparation.
